Tukariri Dryden appointed as Mouri Tūroa – Contracts Manager
Ngā Tāngata Tiaki o Whanganui welcomed Tukariri to Contract Manager role within our Mouri Tūroa team on the 16th of May 2023.
Tukariri is responsible developing and maintaining relationships with contractors delivering fencing, planting and pest control related to the work of Mouri Tūroa. The role includes initiating the contracts with successful contractors, monitoring and managing contract performance through the contract lifecycle.
Mouri Tūroa is our jobs for nature initiative that aims to enhance, protect, and preserve the water quality and biodiversity of Te Awa Tupua o Whanganui (Whanganui River). This project works with landowners whose lands border the tributaries and main stem of the Whanganui River.
Through our working relationship we also hope to help build the long-term sustainability of contractors engaged with Mouri Tūroa. If you are interested in learning more about the Mouri Tūroa please email office@ngatangatatiaki.co.nz.
